Style is more than clothing. It’s a persona. An identity. A celebration of individuality. Style is who you are when you don’t have access to a smartphone. Or when you don’t have access to Instagram or Facebook. Style is who you are as a human being.
Therefore, I want to discuss a few things that expand your style. Because you can dress well, but if you don’t care about the rest of your self, your style will only go so far.
First, it is imperative to have a quality skin care regimen. The best skin care products are made by Kiehl’s. The company has been in existence for over 150 years, so they definitely know what they are doing. They make a line of skin care specifically made for men called Facial Fuel. The menthol and caffeine wake your skin to prepare you for the day. Most importantly, their moisturizer is SPF 15, so you can protect your face when you do anything outside.
Next is scent. Every person needs a signature scent. It can take time to find the best scent for you since there are so many options. Select an eau de parfum instead of an eau de toilette. The former has more concentrate of essential aromas and oils than the latter. It will also last longer on your skin. You may also want to have two scents: one for everyday use and another for special occasions. For example, I wear Bond No. 9’s Hamptons daily yet wear Creed’s Silver Mountain Water on for specific events. Both are light and fresh, which are perfect for the spring and summer.
Finally is self-awareness. You should know how to treat others with respect and maturity. You can dress well and take care of your body, yet if you don’t properly take care of others, it is all for naught. Be kind. Your actions will take you far.
