I have developed an apparent affinity for the many variations of navy blue. I’m intrigued even more so by the richness in the pairing of navy blue and black. It’s safe to say that this combination could easily be a uniform for me day in and day out. It’s very subtle yet very striking, it’s minimalistic yet very elegant. There’s such a perceivable charm given off by the proper execution of this look. The key to pulling this off is opting for a rich medium blue (or French Navy if you would) to provide a slight contrast with the black tone. In this case, I’ve paired my medium blue suit with my black knit tie and simple white dress shirt. The clean white palette allows the two tones to merge together seamlessly with no competition.
